Developed in response to increased pressure for sustainable manufacturing practices in key areas, including energy and water, this document helps industrial facilities with operations that use water identify the "true cost" by tracking its use and associated expenses (e.g., purchasing, treating, heating, disposal). Along with awareness and education on water balances and water tool calculators to help identify and reduce risks and costs, this guidance provides several case studies for companies of all sizes to adapt to their needs.
