The one-day VDA 6.3 process auditor examination consists of two parts: a written exam and an oral exam.
After passing the complete exam (both parts), you will receive a VDA certificate with your registered number, an auditor card, and entry into the VDA QMC database.
Prerequisite:
Before being admitted into the exam, the applicant must submit a completed Application Form for Admission to VDA 6.3 Examination for Certified Process Auditor (VDA Application Form) and submit all the appropriate evidence and documentation to vda@aiag.org. Once the application has been received, it will be reviewed for acceptance into the examination.
Admission after successful review of your application which shall include:
Copy of your certificate of qualification of the training "VDA 6.3 - Qualification as Process Auditor"
Proof of completion of a three-day auditor qualification course based on DIN EN ISO 19011 or a qualification for VDA Quality Manager and Internal Auditor
Proof of knowledge of the Automotive Core Tools
o The training "Automotive Core Tools for System and Process Auditors" (ID 417) and the VDA qualification "Automotive Core Tools Professional" (ID 415 and 416 and possibly 450) are recognized. Alternatively, evidence of a minimum two-day training about Automotive Core Tools by another training provider as well as the passing of an Automotive Core Tools online quiz is required. If the quiz is not passed, the "Automotive Core Tools for System and Process Auditors" course (ID 417) must be completed.

Proof of at least five (5) years industrial experience including at least two (2) years in quality management.
Digital passport photo of the applicant for your certificate.
