Rail & Haul-Away Visibility

The objective of Rail/Haul-Away Visibility was to create an industry guideline/standard of data that will be shared between the carriers and OEMs to ensure all parties are up-to-date on the status of each vehicle, which ultimately supports better management of carriers assets resulting in quicker delivery to the dealer network. Standardizing vehicle handling practices globally leads to a reduction in damage rates and the more rapid and effective transporting of vehicles, on haul away trucks, as well as rail cars and ocean carriers.

This collaboration between the OEMs and carriers looks to provide administrative & hard cost savings along with improved efficiencies for all parties.
